I took a beginner’s course in conversational German at the German embassy in Tel Aviv a long time ago. I have always wanted to learn the language. It may be a coincidence, but both my maiden and married names are German in origin. I understand a bit of German, but my aim is to be able to speak German.

Hi you all, well, there are many ways to learn german as a true beginner. One of the methods that work to learn it quite fast is to study the grammar part on your own, to get behind the theory and then start as soon as possible to talk to a native speaker. With the internet, no problem today. There are free language exchange communities to start with or, if you want a more professional approach, you can take private or group lessons online.
